Nutritious and yet so light, Mr.'ShroomBurger satiates without heaviness because it is Porcini, Shiitake and Champignon mushrooms “freshly processed” to retain their aromas. Champignon mushrooms have always been a favorite of chefs to add depth and umami to dishes without the need for animal based products. Our champignon mushrooms are cleverly combined with pulsed peas, lentils and red beans to further enhance flavor, balance texture, and boost the nutritional profile. This burger is particularly light and digestible, and it only takes a few minutes to enjoy all the richness of a burger and satisfy your cravings. Our chef recommends serving 'burger style' on a bun, accompanied by sauces and other veggies of your choice.
Keep frozen or refrigerated. Remove the patty from plastic and cook thoroughly before serving. If frozen, thaw completely in refrigerator prior to cooking. Use within 3 days of opening. Do not refreeze.
Add a tablespoon of oil to a non-stick pan and heat over medium-low heat. Cook for 4 min. per side until lightly browned.
Preheat oven to 350° F on a lined baking tray, brush patties with oil and cook for 4 min. until lightly browned.
Place the patty on a microwave safe plate. Cook on medium (based on 1100 watt microwave) for 2 min. Microwave ovens vary. Times given are approximate.
